“We were sent from the North to undergo Military Training in Ondo” – Arrested Fulani Youths claim

Report from a reliable source has it that 45 Fulani Youths were arrested by the Ondo State Security Network, also known as Amotekun Corps.

The Fulani Youths conveyed in a truck were intercepted in front of the Okitipupa Army Barracks and were later taken to the Ondo State capital, Akure.

Sahara Reporters reports that the people residing in the area where panicking after seeing these Northern youths and concluded that they were in town to cause havoc and this led to their arrest.

Upon interrogation, they revealed that they were sent from the North to undergo Military Training in Ondo State.

It was also revealed by the chairman, Okitipupa Local Government Area, Mr Igbekele Akinrinwa that it was an indigene of the State that masterminded the trip of these Fulani youths.

While addressing the people at the scene of the incident, Akinrinwa said that the said indigene has been arrested by the Amotekun Corps.
