A former Brazil striker named Edilson has claimed he was better than Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar during his prime.
Many football enthusiasts have probably never heard of him. From research, he has played for 18 different clubs in his 16 year professional career.
He was part of 2020 Brazil’s squad that won World Cup-winning. Edilson, who is 48 years of age made this sensational claim while speaking with TV Bandeirantes recently.
He said that at his best, he played better than Neymar. He also said that he has personality, and that for Messi to be better than him, Messi also has to win the World Cup. He
Cristiano Ronaldo is just strength, according to him. Although Ronaldo strikes the ball well with both feet, he still believes he is more skillful than Ronaldo.
Edilson scored 163 goals during his club career, most of which was spent in Brazil.
He also scored six times for his country on the international level.

Messi is the only of the three players he mentioned that matches Edilson’s achievement. He successfully reached the final with Argentina in 2014, but lost 1-0 to Germany.
