Senator Shehu Sani has raised his fear over the possibility of the Federal Government to preserve the Covid-19 vaccines due to the unreliable nature of electricity supply in the country.
The Minister of Health had briefed the leadership of the Senate yesterday concerning the plans and requirement to import Covid-19 vaccines.
He told the upper chamber that a total of N400billion worth of Covid19 vaccines will be imported to the country to help vaccinate about 70% Nigerians.
Senator Shehu Sani has raised his concerns saying that with the epileptic nature of power supply and generators in the country, it will be difficult to import and safely store the vaccines.
