The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Monday visited Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja.
The news was disclosed by Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, via his verified Twitter handle.
“President @MBuhari receives in audience General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (@rccghq), @PastorEAAdeboye, at the State House, Abuja,” he tweeted.
The meeting reportedly took place in the President’s official office at Aso Rock.
The Company and Allied Matters Act, CAMA, which empowers a federal ministry and Corporate Affairs Commission to regulate the affairs of Churches is still a burning issue in the country.
Many believe that it could form part of Adeboye and Buhari’s discussion during the GO’s visit to the Presidential Villa on Monday.
In March, President Muhammadu Buhari felicitated with the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye as he turned 78.
He also saluted the dedication of the RCCG General Overseer to God, the welfare of the church, and consistency in preaching and living the gospel for many years.
