The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has launched a website focused on COVID-19, it is updated every day and has the information needed for even daily situation reports, guidance for schools, guidance for health workers and more.
This was made known to the public through the Nigerian Government official Twitter page.
Between 7 Jan-12 March 2020, a total of 42 people, who met case definition was screened for COVID-19 in 6 states; Edo, Lagos, Ogun, Yobe, Rivers, Kano and FCT, of which 40 tested negative, 2 were confirmed positive- the index case and contact index case- and zero deaths on COVID-19.
