The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that 7 persons have died of Covid-19 and 329 confirmed new Covid-19 cases in Nigeria via its official handler on the 14th of August, 2020.
To date, the total number of cases confirmed in the 36 states of the Federal is 48,445 of which 35,998 have been discharged and 973 deaths have been recorded.
Here is the list of 20 states and the FCT where the new cases of Covid-19 have been discovered as at 14th August 2020 with Lagos having the highest cases while Nasarawa, Bauchi and Niger has the least.

The National Response Activities are coordinated from a Multi-sectional National Emergency Operations Center, (EOC), activated at Level 3.
It can be recalled that President Buhari approved N8.49 Billion Naira for Covid-19 testing at the Federal Executive Council meeting held at the Executive Chambers on Wednesday for the procurement and purchase of necessary pieces of equipment for the testing of coronavirus aimed at controlling and containing community spread of the global pandemic in the country of which 580 local government area out of the 774 Local Governments Areas of the federation have been dominated by the virus.
