Coronavirus: Federal Government denies planning to pay N30,000 to every Nigerian with a verified BVN account

The federal government has denied the news making rounds that it is planning to pay the sum of N30,000.00 to every Nigerian with a verified BVN account.

This statement was made by the Federal Government through the official twitter handle for the COVID-19 Updates in Nigeria. According to the post, it says;

The general public is hereby advised to disregard such news as the federal government is not making such plans.

However, Nigerians would have wished this post is true and while debunking this particular news, we all hope the federal government will do something to help the citizens during the stay at home period.
